Gotong royong (mutual cooperation) is a noble Indonesian value that serves as the foundation of community life, particularly in rural areas. The Community Service Program (KKN)—specifically Group 149 from the University of Bengkulu (Period 108), conducted in Siring Agung Village, Kelam Tengah District, Kaur Regency—adopted gotong royong as its central theme to strengthen values of togetherness and environmental cleanliness. Activities took place every Friday throughout the KKN period, commencing on June 26 and continuing for 38 days. Key activities included mutual coorperation (gotong royong) communal waste cleanup efforts within the village, and "Clean Friday" initiatives at the local mosque and communal waste disposal sites. The study employed a methodology combining literature review with direct observation during the KKN implementation. Program outcomes demonstrated that these *gotong royong* activities successfully increased community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness, fostered closer social ties between KKN students and villagers, and cultivated a collective awareness regarding the importance of a clean and healthy environment. The program's success was validated by winning First Place in the Kelam Tengah District-wide Simultaneous Cleanliness Competition on July 24, 2025, following an assessment conducted on Friday, July 17, 2025.
