Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of physical condition of the Malang Volleyball Club (MVC) U-17 Male Volleyball athletes in Malang City using a survey method and purposive sampling technique. The research sample consisted of 17 athletes. The instruments used to measure physical condition include push-up tests, vertical jumps, 10-meter sprints, agility  using the T Test, flexibility using the Standing Trunk Flexion Test and endurance using Bleep test. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. The results of the study showed that the physical condition of the MVC male volleyball athletes was in the "Good" category. Based on the results of the data analysis, what needs to be improved is the VO2max component, it is recommended that coaches focus on increasing cardiovascular endurance (VO2max) through interval training programs, to improve the physical quality of athletes in facing tighter competitions. Periodic evaluation and testing of physical conditions are needed to monitor the development and effectiveness of the training program being run.
