Survei Motivasi Pemain Berlatih Bola Voli Di Klub Bravo Galaxi Singosari Kabupaten Malang

Abstract

Motivation is an encouragement that comes from oneself or from outside to achieve certain goals. How strong the motivation of each individual will determine the quality of the behavior he displays both in the context of learning, practicing, working and in other life. The purpose of this study was to find out and examine the motivation of players to practice volleyball at Galaxy 18 Singosari, Malang Regency. The design in this study uses a survey design with a quantitative descriptive form using a questionnaire approach. Descriptive research used is explorative in nature which is used to describe a situation, status or phenomenon based on existing facts. From the results of the data analysis that has been done, the findings show that extrinsic motivation has a better effect than intrinsic motivation. The conclusions are: (a) based on the results of calculating the intrinsic motivation of volleyball players at the Bravo Galaxy Singosari club, Malang Regency, the results are: (1) the mean for intrinsic motivation is 0.91, (2) the median for intrinsic motivation is 1, (3) the mode for intrinsic motivation 1, (4) standard deviation for intrinsic motivation 33.4211153, (5) variance for intrinsic motivation 1116.97095, and (6) coefficient of variance for intrinsic motivation 36.73, (b) based on the results of calculating the extrinsic motivation of soccer players volleyball at the Bravo Galaxy Singosari club in Malang Regency, the results are: (1) mean for extrinsic motivation 0.75, (2) median for extrinsic motivation 0, (3) mode for extrinsic motivation 1, (4) standard deviation for extrinsic motivation 28.776894, (5) the variance for extrinsic motivation is 828.1093, and (6) the coefficient of variance for extrinsic motivation is 38.37, (c) based on the calculation results of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation, it can be concluded that the dominant motivation for volleyball players Galaxy 18 club volleyball Singosari Malang Regency is extrinsic motivation.
