Curriculum serves as a fundamental guideline in the implementation of the national education system to achieve educational objectives. In Indonesia, the curriculum has undergone a transition from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum. This change has indirectly influenced the teaching and learning process in physical education. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the level of implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in physical education learning. This study aims to determine the level of implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in physical education learning at junior high schools in Pasirian District, Lumajang Regency, and to provide evaluation material for teachers in the teaching process. This research employed a survey method with a descriptive quantitative approach. The instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of three components of curriculum implementation in physical education learning, namely: (1) lesson planning, (2) lesson implementation, and (3) learning evaluation. The subjects of this study were 22 physical education teachers from junior high schools in Pasirian District. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques with percentage calculations. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in physical education learning is categorized as very good. However, further attention is still required in implementing learning activities that emphasize students’ needs. The findings of this study can be used as evaluation material for teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum.
