Through the use of virtual reality (VR) technology as a teaching tool, this Community Service (PKM) project seeks to increase students' motivation, engagement, and comprehension of abstract physics ideas. Students' inadequate comprehension of challenging physics ideas and the lack of adequate laboratory facilities were the primary issues that partner schools had to deal with. The activity was carried out in a number of phases, including socialization of VR use, VR-based learning, discussion and introspection, conceptual comprehension assessment, and student learning experience evaluation. Students' capacity to explain physical phenomena more precisely and thoroughly shown an improvement in their comprehension of physics principles following the use of virtual reality. Additionally, students' enthusiasm, active participation in debates, and positive reactions to the immersive and interactive learning experience demonstrated that the use of VR also boosted their motivation, interest, and engagement in learning. Even though there were certain technical difficulties, like a shortage of devices and early adaption, they were resolved with the help of suitable mentorship and learning management. Overall, it has been demonstrated that using virtual reality (VR) in physics classes improves students' cognitive and affective abilities. VR has the potential to develop into a cutting-edge teaching tool that enables technology-based educational reform in classrooms.
