PENGUATAN KARAKTER LEWAT GERAK: KOLABORASI OLAHRAGA, PENCAK SILAT, DAN EDUKASI ANTI-BULLYING DI MI ISKANDAR SULAIMAN

Abstract

Bullying is an issue that can hinder students' character development, learning comfort, and social relationships within the school environment. Bullying behavior encompasses not only physical violence but also verbal, psychological, and social forms, as well as actions carried out via digital media. Therefore, preventive and educational efforts are needed to enhance students' understanding while fostering positive character traits. This community service activity aims to increase the understanding of students at MI Iskandar Sulaiman regarding bullying its impacts, its various forms, and ways to prevent and address it through a collaborative approach combining sports, pencak silat (martial arts), and anti-bullying education. The implementation employs an educational-participatory approach comprising stages for preparation, awareness-raising, movement and pencak silat demonstrations, discussions, group games, and evaluation. Students gain insights into the importance of respecting peers, managing emotions, building courage, cooperating, and rejecting all forms of violence. The activity demonstrates that sports and pencak silat can serve as effective mediums for instilling values ​​such as discipline, responsibility, sportsmanship, self-control, and mutual respect. This initiative is expected to serve as a preventive strategy in creating a school environment that is safe, healthy, comfortable, and free from bullying.
