Edukasi dan Pendampingan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) pada Anak Usia Dini
Abstract
Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) is an important effort in forming healthy habits from an early age. However, the implementation of CHLB among early childhood students in school environments is still relatively low, particularly in habits such as handwashing, proper waste disposal, and personal hygiene. This activity aims to improve knowledge and establish CHLB habits in early childhood through education and mentoring. The method used in this activity is an educational and participatory approach implemented through several stages, including observation, preparation, interactive education, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. The participants of this activity were 19 children at TK Darul Ulum Anggaraksa. Evaluation was conducted through observation using a checklist to assess behavioral changes before and after the intervention. The results showed an improvement in CHLB behavior across all observed indicators. Before the activity, most children had not demonstrated proper CHLB habits. After the intervention, there was a significant improvement in handwashing with soap, proper waste disposal, and personal hygiene. These findings indicate that interactive educational approaches combined with continuous mentoring are effective in improving clean and healthy living behaviors among early childhood students.
